INTERNATIONAL WHOLESALE MANAGER

About the role
As Wholesale Manager at Love Stories, you will grow our wholesale operations, cultivating strong relationships with key buyers and partners. You will oversee the full seasonal sales cycle, from planning to execution, while ensuring seamless coordination of stock and invoicing processes. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving sales performance, expanding our wholesale network, and building long-term strategic partnerships.
Description of the tasks:
Channel ownership and strategy
- Contribute to the wholesale P&L, margin performance, and long-term revenue growth, taking shared responsibility for outcomes.
- Define and execute the global wholesale strategy aligned with brand identity and commercial goals.
- Set clear market priorities and develop a scalable growth roadmap.
- Balance expansion with quality distribution and strong brand positioning.
Business development and distribution strategy
- Drive new business in key markets while strengthening existing partnerships
- Lead high-level key account negotiations and establish strong commercial wholesale agreements.
- Expand and optimize the agent and distributor network.
- Implement clear segmentation and commercial frameworks (pricing, terms, margin), leveraging strong expertise in product merchandising.
- Turn retail feedback and consumer insights into actionable initiatives.
Performance and forecasting
- Ensure forecasts are realistic and anticipate market developments.
- Translate data into sharp, well-informed commercial decisions.
- Position wholesale as a scalable, insight-driven channel.
Organizational build
- Strengthen commercial capabilities and act as the cross-functional bridge (Sales, Product, Marketing, Retail), including invoicing and stock, ensure timely billing, manage receivables, and coordinate stock to support cashflow and demand
What we ask
- Fluent in Dutch (native) and English, both written and spoken.
- 8+ years of experience in international sales or business development in fashion, lifestyle, or accessories.
- Strong commercial and analytical (numbers-driven) mindset, with a proven track record in driving sales growth; experience within the womenswear industry is a plus. Hands-on and entrepreneurial approach.
- Experience in working with international agents and distributors.
- Willingness and availability to frequently travel for trade fairs and sales events.
- Analytical and data-driven, with strong reporting and performance tracking abilities.
- Based in or near Amsterdam, available 40 hours per week.
